The Fray
Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.Four-time Grammy-nominated band The Fray will perform a private concert for all Connections attendees on Wednesday evening. The Fray skyrocketed into stardom in 2005 when their debut album, How to Save a Life, went double platinum in the US and platinum in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. With the release of their latest album, Scars & Stories, The Fray continues to inspire through music.
The Fray will perform exclusively for Connections attendees at Victory Field. Home to the minor league baseball team the Indianapolis Indians, Victory Field opened its gates in 1996 and was a catalyst for revitalizing the downtown area. It's since been recognized by Sports Illustrated as the "Best Minor League Ballpark in America." Today, Victory Field occupies a prime corner, close to the White River State Park, the Indiana Convention Center, and—most importantly—the JW Marriott! If you're staying at the conference hotel, this concert will be just a short walk across the street.

Wednesday, MidnightIf you haven't heard his music already, you'll soon have a new favorite to add to your playlist. With a neo-soul vibe, Hawthorne's style has been called "slick and meticulous, calling back to the rich, elegant sound of early Seventies tracks by Curtis Mayfield and Isaac Hayes while including subtle modern touches" by Rolling Stone. Hawthorne has shared the stage with stars like Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars, Foster the People, and the late Amy Winehouse.

Together with Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, we'll help fight hunger by:
- Assembling 250 supplemental food boxes for at-risk senior citizens
- Packing 2,000 "BackSacks", which provide weekend meals for students in grades K-6
- Inspecting and sorting 6,500 pounds of canned/boxed food and 7,000 pounds of frozen meat
